I wish i didnt have to buy a Games on Demand version when i essentially paid 20$ already on my unusable copy.
Its clear while there was alot of testing involved with the new update, this one slippedīy.

My theory is the new XBG3 update is what caused this, as others have stated their copy ran just fine some time ago(half a year or so) and then sudden has these symptoms. And i randomly installed a game to see if it was my xbox and it worked perfectly.Īfter being frustrated i went on a research spree, and came up with many many instances of the same symptoms. So I'm pretty sure that second disc i had WASNT the same one. And the copy i got this time was the platinum hits version. To be fair following on from Resident Evil 4 was always going to be a hard task for any game to do. I signed an agreement online where they'd send their copy before they even got mine. For many fans, Resident Evil 5 is seen as the black sheep of the main Resident Evil series. So i returned it again, but this time they expedited my copy, AND So i send it back for a return, get what seemed to be another copy and it did the same thing, needless to say i gave a talking to support saying they sent me the same bad copy. it hard crashes out saying a disc read error sayings its dirty or damaged.

So i got to install it, and it fails at 48% every-time so i go to play it thinking it was a fluke andįail at the load-out screen to chapter 1-1. Ya heh my whole story is i bought a copy preowned on wasn't expecting it in perfect condition though really it was all immaculate, pristine. So basically ive come across someone saying this exact scenerio (1-1 failing, 2-3 failing, and fails around 30%-48%) in every one of these xbox's

Buy Games on Demand Version (STILL dont download the figurine DLC, ive read reports it STILL gives you "disc" read errors.(lol no s downloaded) remove HDD use fresh 8GB Flash drive and itll probably update your 360 too and install it to that.ĥ. remove HDD put back several times and keep trying to install to HDD each timeģ. SOL: ya well some people have "fixed" this by really wierd ways.Ģ.

There is TWO (Separate) problems, one has a fix.

Essentially it wont load the buy screen after the first two cut-scenes in chapter 1-1 making it where you cant get far enough to be able to upgrade your weapons. It's really unfortunate, because the activity is challenging enough without the controls leading to unnecessary losses.RE5 has something wrong with it where some copies will not work. Brain's two-player touch-screen mode, but that won't help elsewhere. Tick-Tock Turn's controls are much more accurate in Brain vs. I was not the only one struggling with this part of the activity when playing against Ghost Data for other players online, I could see them similarly overshooting their target and desperately trying to make it work. I often found myself overshooting by five or ten minutes and having to spend precious seconds trying to adjust. However, the control stick is not precise enough for this type of task. Tick-Tock Turn tasks players with moving the hands on a clock to jump ahead a set amount of time (such as 60 minutes, or even 270). Nearly all of the activities are easy to control. Some of my personal favorites were Balloon Burst, where players must pop balloons in numerical order, and Fast Focus, where players must guess the image as it comes into focus.
It's a pretty small incentive, but those avatar options are a nice way to make your character stick out online, or during multiplayer.įor the most part, the game's activities are really well thought out, and will challenge players to think.
For every 10 points the player accumulates, a new avatar item is unlocked. Players are rewarded points for practicing activities, clearing point thresholds, or for competing against Ghost Data. When starting up a solo game, players are prompted to enter their name and age, and create an in-game avatar. The latter option also allows players to compete in ranks that will be reset each month. Ghost Data can be challenged between multiple accounts on the same system, or against other players online. In addition to the practice and test options, players can compete in these activities with friends locally, or against Ghost Data. Players can select any of these activities from the start, or they can measure their Big Brain Brawn by completing timed activities in a test spanning the five categories. Brain offers 16 activities to compete in across five categories: Identify, Categorize, Analyze, Compute, and Visualize.
